Link Types

To help your customers navigate around your online store, menu items are added to build up your store’s navigation. These are basically links to any pages of your website which are products, collections and webpages. To add or remove any link, you can do so in this section.

Add, Remove, Edit menu items in your online store

Firstly, a collection needs to be created for your store before it can be added to menu and then a link is assigned to that item.

Menu items can be linked to:

• Webpages,
• Collections
• Products
• Email links

Add a Menu Item

To add a menu item, go to your Fishry admin panel and select the navigation heading from the side bar.

A window will appear for the default menus of your store that are the ‘main menu’ and ‘footer’.

Select title of the default menu you want to edit, For example. If you want to edit link in your footer menu, Then select the edit tab in the 'footer' section and the following window will appear

1. Click 'Add Link' 
2. From here you can enter the title for the main menu, and assign an link to which page your customers will be directed to. These are: 

• Store Frontpage
• Collection
• Products
• All Products
• Page
• Web Address
• Sub Menu
• Mega Menu

3. When you are done entering the details, click on the save tab highlighted in green on the top right of the navigation page

Edit a Menu item

1. From your Fishry admin panel, select the navigation heading from the side bar.
2. Your default main menus will appear
3. Select the menu you want to edit and on the right side select the ‘edit’ button highlighted in red
4. Make any changes you need, that can be the title of the menu or link assigned to it
5. Save your changes by selecting the ‘save’ button highlighted in green at the top right of the page.

Remove a Menu Item

1. From your Fishry admin panel, select the navigation heading from the side bar.
2. Click on the menu title you need to remove
3. Whichever menu item you want to remove, click on the trash icon beside it
4. The menu item will be removed from the list
5. Click the save button highlighted in green to apply changes.
